General Enrollment

Welcome to Joplin Schools!

New* student enrollment (including kindergarten registration) begins with a Pre-Enrollment Form, followed by the steps belowClick here for more information regarding attendance zones or to verify which school your child will attend.

*Existing students' enrollment documents should be updated in PowerSchool prior to the start of school in August; this online update replaces annual paper forms.

Pre-Enrollment Form

What's next?

1.
After you finish the pre-enrollment form, it will automatically be sent to your child's school.

2.
Please watch your email for next steps in the enrollment process.

3.
Complete the full enrollment registration online from the email you receive, which requires you to create a Parent Portal account and complete a few forms online.

4.
Once the full registration is complete and submitted, it will automatically be sent to your child’s school.

5.
Once submitted, visit your child's school to verify documents. You may go during regular school hours from August to June.

6.
During that visit, you will bring in your original documents (i.e. birth certificate, immunization records, proof of residency, photo ID, etc.) for verification.

7.
If you have difficulty with the online enrollment process, please contact your child’s school or visit them during regular school hours from August to June.

Please be prepared with the following documentation to complete the enrollment process for your child you are enrolling:
